Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Concord, CA (100% On-Site)
Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time

About the Role

We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist with strong construction industry experience to join our client team in Concord. This is a fully on-site role supporting a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication skills, strong follow-through, and a team-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Process invoices, billings, lien releases, and vendor payments
  • Monitor job costing, purchase orders, and payment schedules
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies proactively
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers and internal teams
  • Communicate with vendors and clients in a professional, timely manner

Required Experience & Skills

  • Construction industry experience required
  • Proficiency in Spectrum and Nice Touch software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate needs
  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented personality
